Great leaders make a difference in the lives of others. Maxim Gorin, the founder of LifeLine Ambulance, has been affecting the lives of his employees, clients, and community through 19 years of leadership in the  Emergency Medical Service industry.

In the Beginning

In 2002, Maxim founded LifeLine Ambulance in Los Angeles County with a six-person staff and two ambulances. In the early years, Maxim, a newly licensed emergency medical technician,  oversaw every aspect of his company’s growth by frequently responding to calls himself, handling late-night dispatching, and implementing marketing efforts to highlight LifeLine’s client-centered mission. Because of Maxim’s drive to succeed and business development initiatives, LifeLine entered into long-term growth while continually developing partnerships with hospitals, insurance companies, managed care groups, and other health care providers in Los Angeles and Orange County.

Today, LifeLine’s fleet of 70 ambulances and 300 employees offers 24/7 high acuity patient care, essential life support, and critical care transport with a dedication to excellence in all aspects of healthcare. In March 2020, Maxim partnered with Spencer Health to develop sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer for LifeLine Ambulance employees, which led to him founding LifeLine Supply to provide PPE to his community during the pandemic.  He continues to donate LifeLine Supply products to first responders throughout SoCal, including the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department and Rio Hondo Fire Academy.

Community Service

As an immigrant from Russia, Maxim understands the importance of community service. Throughout the years, he has become a member of the American Heart Association (AHA) and was appointed to the Orange County AHA Executive Leadership Team. Maxim has also made sure that LifeLine is actively engaged in the community by offering free onsite blood pressure screenings for seniors and CPR classes for adults, teens, and at the offices of working professionals.

Maxim’s commitment to service extends to helping other business owners thrive. As an ambassador for the Montebello Chamber of Commerce, Maxim provided valuable insights into leadership and community growth. He also serves on the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership Board of Directors, driving economic development and vitality for the region.

Looking Forward

Maxim will continue his commitment to his employees, clients, and community with an impactful approach to building relationships. As a community-centered emergency care provider, Maxim’s highest priority for LifeLine is bringing value to the community and clients, protecting the well-being of patients, and maintaining the professional excellence of his team.
